Genesis Abi officially launches and rolls into more mecwacare homes

We’re proud to share Genesis Abi with the world, starting with expanding our partnership with leading aged care provider, mecwacare. 

A new chapter in companionship

This week marks a milestone for us, and for the residents and care teams who’ve already welcomed Abi into their homes.

Genesis Abi is the latest evolution of our humanoid companion, designed hand-in-hand with the people who know aged care best. She brings everything our community loves about Abi – warmth, humour and empathy – with additional features that make her even more emotionally intelligent and supportive for care teams and residents. 

Co-developed with mecwacare, Genesis Abi has enhanced multi-lingual and listening abilities, an autonomous setting, and specialised features to better relate to people living with dementia.

These improvements mean she will be able to support care teams more seamlessly than ever, moving around more independently to join group activities and spend quality one-on-one time with residents in their rooms.

Built together, with care

Our partnership with mecwacare has helped shape Genesis Abi. Over many months of shared learning and feedback, their teams and residents have helped to refine Abi’s emotional intelligence, responsiveness and personality to make every interaction even more genuine and emotionally rewarding.
